Sveta Zhukovska
Sveta Zhukovska was born in Lutsk, Ukraine. At eight years old her family moved to Moscow where she took her first steps into the world of acting with amateur theater groups. When she is 12 years old, she moved to Spain to work for several years as a model. Is in one of these jobs where the film director Isabel de Ocampo discovered her skills, offering to her the main role in the short film "She Lies". The short was an absolutely success winning numerous awards at Film festivals around the world,among them, the Goya award for best short fiction of 2009. She starts earning the nickname of ¨Spanish cinema's Russian girl", her exotic Slavic profile captures the attention of filmmaker Gerardo Herrero to star in her second short film, "Picnic". This work became extremely popular in the national and international circuit in 2010 with more than fifty awards, among them the 1st prize of the Malaga's film festival and selections at prestigious festivals such as Tribeca (New York) or Scream film festival in L.A. In 2011 she got her first role in a feature film, "Evelyn" by Isabel de Ocampo. Sveta Zhukovska currently resides in New York, working on various independent film projects and prestigious advertising photographers.

Svetlana's background is in cinematography. She is known for her work on many critically acclaimed documentaries, including OSCAR® Winner "Inside Job," OSCAR® Nominated "Facing Fear," the Cannes Official Selection "Red Army," and the Sundance US Documentary Special Jury Prize-winning "Inequality For All." In addition, she was the first cinematographer on films such as OSCAR® Winner "O.J.: Made in America" and Sundance documentary "Miss Representation", setting the look for those films. Svetlana is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since 2019.
