It sold to Amazon in a record-breaking deal and garnered the highest streaming numbers of the year. Her acclaimed debut feature CHUTNEY POPCORN, with Jill Hennessy and Sakina Jaffrey, won audience awards at the Berlin International Film Festival, Newport Film Festival, Outfest Los Angeles, and many more. Nisha has written on Netflix's Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, created by Ravi Patel and Neel Shah, featuring Swara Bhaskar as the lead. She has co-written a dramedy feature film for India's most reputed comedy collective, AIB, and worked in collaboration with Dharmatic Ent., Zee5, Endemol, etc on various unreleased works. She has also led branded content for Google, Amazon Prime Video, CRED, Bumble, Nykaa, among others. She was one of ten students selected to train at AIB First Draft, India's first screenwriting residency training program led by award-winning filmmaker Satyanshu Singh.
