Nisha Ganatra is a Golden Globe winner and an Emmy nominee for her work as the Director/Producer of "Transparent." Recently she directed THE HIGH NOTE for Working Title and Focus Features, starring Tracee Ellis Ross, Ice Cube, June Diane Raphael, Dakota Johnson, and Kelvin Harrison Jr. Ganatra's previous film LATE NIGHT, starring Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling, premiered at Sundance. It sold to Amazon in a record-breaking deal and garnered the highest streaming numbers of the year. Her acclaimed debut feature CHUTNEY POPCORN, with Jill Hennessy and Sakina Jaffrey, won audience awards at the Berlin International Film Festival, Newport Film Festival, Outfest Los Angeles, and many more. Her sophomore feature COSMOPOLITAN, starring Carol Kane and Roshan Seth, premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival. In television, Ganatra directed Liz Sarnoff's pilot, "Highland," and sold a drama project to ABC and a comedy pilot to NBC, with Amy Poehler producing. She was the Co-Executive Producer/Director for "Better Things" with Pamela Adlon and the Co-Executive Producer/Director on "You Me Her." She also created CODE ACADEMY for the ITVS/PBS series "FutureStates." Ganatra has directed episodes of "Girls," "Dear White People," "Future Man," "Mr. Robot," "Shameless," "Married," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "Last Man on Earth," "Love," and "Black Monday."

Nisha Kalra is a Mumbai-based screenwriter, actor, improviser, co-founder, serial workshop-attender and opinion-haver. Nisha has written on Netflix's Bhaag Beanie Bhaag, created by Ravi Patel and Neel Shah, featuring Swara Bhaskar as the lead. She has co-written a dramedy feature film for India's most reputed comedy collective, AIB, and worked in collaboration with Dharmatic Ent., Zee5, Endemol, etc on various unreleased works. She has also led branded content for Google, Amazon Prime Video, CRED, Bumble, Nykaa, among others. She was one of ten students selected to train at AIB First Draft, India's first screenwriting residency training program led by award-winning filmmaker Satyanshu Singh. As an actor, she has trained with Avneesh Mishra, performed in iconic plays with Rangshila Theatre, and featured in a minor role on a Disney+ Hotstar show. As an improv comic, she has trained with the LA-based UCB Improv Theatre (founded by Amy Poehler), performed religiously for over 3 years, and recently featured in a first-of-its-kind, Hindi improv comedy series set to hit OTTs soon. During the covid second wave, she also founded Art for Oxygen, a series of fundraising workshops in collaboration with experts like Vikramaditya Motwane, Varun Grover and more. She successfully raised over 10 lakhs to help partner NGOs. She's currently developing a web series for a reputed platform, while simultaneously building her company, Almost Spiritual - a consultancy working in the emotional sustainability space - of which she is co-founder and partner.
