Marcos was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. He went to college wanting to be a sports announcer and earned a BA in mass communications from Point Loma Nazarene College in San Diego where he was co-host of a popular radio show and was the play-by-play announcer for the men's basketball and baseball teams. After college, with the only job offer he had being for a non-paid intern at a radio station in Fargo, Marcos returned to Pasadena and began pursuing acting where he had many small roles in movies and TV shows while also honing his craft on stage doing plays. After a couple of years mostly waiting tables, Marcos decided to try something different and joined the military. He joined the Navy in March 2001 and was quickly given a spot in the pilot training program as a result of the 9/11 attacks. Marcos went on to earn his Navy Pilot Wings in 2003 and flew the F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet while serving 13 years active duty. Since separating from active duty, Marcos has continued his acting pursuits and has appeared in a number of independent films and short films in roles ranging from serial killers to doting fathers. Marcos is married with two teenage sons, he is a professional pilot, enjoys surfing, and working on cars while never letting go of his love for telling stories and collaborating with creative people from all walks of life.
Marcos Efron was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and raised in Houston, Texas. After earning a business degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Marcos worked as an investment banker in New York but eventually chose to tackle more creative endeavors and moved to Los Angeles. While working as a studio executive, Marcos began directing commercials and music videos for a variety of artists, including Jewel and The Fates. After his evocative short film "Common Practice" played the Sundance Film Festival, Marcos left the executive world behind to focus full time on developing a slate of film and TV projects. He holds dual USA/Argentina citizenship and is proficient in Spanish and Italian.
