Lisa Mason Lee is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Lisa has always had interest in arts and entertainment. Like a lot of kids, she started experimenting with a camera, then eventually started creating indie films with her colleagues whom she met whilst attending Indiana-Purdue University of Indianapolis. With various art and video production skills, Lisa worked as a YouTube personality for Google which got her exposure to various media companies like YobiTV and YouNow. Lisa's knack for writing her own sketch comedies led her to a big collaboration with YouTube stars on BlackBoxTV, and shortly after, landing her first big scripted show, working with Audrina Patridge and Rory Kramer. Lisa was then voted the "Face of INDY" where she was an Entertainment Reporter on both WNDY (MyNetworkTV) and WISH-TV (CBS) in Indianapolis. During that time, she created her own original, scripted entertainment show for My Network TV called, "My Entertainment Minute." There, she interviewed various local heroes in the community, and even stars like, Ed Sheeran, Cody Simpson, Tim Meadows, Pauly Shore, Laura Steele, and Tony Kanaan. Lisa even appeared in a commercial with the two famous "Butler Bulldogs," in which garnered an Emmy nomination. After that, Lisa jumped over to NBC to host a late-night local entertainment show called "Real Scene TV," produced by genius Jason Jolliff. During that time in Indy, she hosted events like Midwest Fashion Week with Berny Martin of fashion line "Catou." Lisa also starred in commercials, and did voice over work for The Indy Visitor's Channel. Since moving to Hollywood, she has not only worked as a Host and Red Carpet Reporter with Afterbuzz TV, but she is also an Actress in various projects. You can see Lisa acting in shows like Dirty John, Job Guys, and also in other indie film projects. When Lisa is not Cast, she works behind the scenes as Crew, which is how she got to befriend David Lynch, and, become Captain Marvel's double. When Lisa is not day playing, she loves to create music and work on passion projects with production teams The Enclave, Tiny Cinema and of course, her own company LML Pictures. Her most recent film accomplishment, Comedy-Horror movie "Angry Baker," was Lisa's Directorial debut. Angry Baker was Officially Selected at Covellite International Film Festival and a Semi-Finalist at multiple Film Festivals like Hollywood Horrorfest and Women In Horror Film Festival. She entered WAAPA (West Australian Academy of Performing Arts) and graduated in 1990 at the age of 19 with a musical degree. Moving over to Melbourne, after a short lived stay in Sydney when Lisa was awarded the Coles contract (Lisa starred on advertisements on television and in the newspapers). Lisa's career began with her auditioning for Annie Jone's role in Newly Weds, and a role in Home and away, both of which she did not win. But In 1993 she auditioned for the role of Ros Patterson, in a new Australian Drama Blue Heelers, and won the lead role of Maggie Doyle instead. Maggie Doyle fast became one of the most loved characters on T.V. and with it so did Lisa. In 1995 she won the silver Logie for Best new talent. and continued on in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 to win the silver Logies for most popular female Actress. Her popularity soared so much that she even went on in 1997 to win the Gold Logie for most popular personality, she again won in 1998, 1999, and 2000. Becoming the first woman in Australian T.V. to win 4 consecutive Gold Logies. in her final gold Logie speech she begged the viewers of Australian T.V. to put Maggie Doyle to rest, as she managed to win this Logie even though her character was only seen on the screen for a very short time that year. Lisa also won for her role as Maggie Doyle, people's choice awards and Variety club awards. During her six years on Blue Heelers Lisa became best friends with her work-mate and onscreen love interest Martin Sacks. it was here that she also me her soul-mate, and husband Tim Disney, who was the stand-by props man on the show. Lisa also took part in many musicals throughout the breaks of the Blue Heelers filming Schedule. She stared in productions including "A Little Night Music", "Into the Woods", and "She Loves Me". After Leaving Blue Heelers Lisa went on to star in the Musical "The Sound of music" playing the role of Maria, this was a very popular production and Bryce Courtney's - "The potato factory" mini series. The other starring role Lisa had at this time was to become a mother for the first time to Son Archer. After a short break after giving birth, Lisa was lured into a new T.V. role of Ros Marshall, the younger and more promiscuous sister of sibling lawyers in "Marshall Law" which Also stars Alyson White as her sister Verity, and her Blue Heelers Co-star William McInnes as Dylan Boyd, Verity's ex-husband, and lawyer. Marshall Law is a different role from Blue Heelers, but so far the show is going well, it is just about to start production on its second series. Lisa also currently is Starring in the Melbourne version of Sam Mendes reprise of Cabaret (Tina Arena is starring in the Sydney version)
