Lethabo Bereng is a South African stage and screen actor best known for his role on the SABC2 drama series, "Mamello." A graduate of The Market Theatre Laboratory, in 2015 he was cast as 'Pretty' on the e.tv drama series, Hustle. It was this role that made him the first South African actor to play a transgender character on national television. Lethabo later on went to shoot his first film, "Fifi's Beauty Spot". In 2018, Lethabo was cast as 'Queen Bling' in the production of "Born Naked". The show has since toured to Makhanda and enjoyed successful seasons at POPArt Theatre in Maboneng in Johannesburg. Letia Clouston is an award-winning director of ten features, airing internationally on Hallmark, Lifetime, Starz, Warner Bros. VOD, Disney Channel LA, UPtv, and NBC/Universal UK. She was featured on the cover of "The New York Times Magazine" in an article about women directors. Letia's most recent feature, "A Christmas for the Books", was the number one scripted cable program for its premiere night on Hallmark. Her horror feature, "The 6th Friend", has won Best Feature, Best Director and Best Actress awards on the festival circuit and was recently distributed theatrically nationwide. Letia's PSA, "In One Instant", won three Telly Awards and is now being used in schools across the country. She also directed an award-winning Off-Broadway one-man show, "The 7th and 11th Dimensions", which was won Best One Man Show at the United Solo Festival. Her sci-fi series, "Broken Toy", and her superhero action short, "The Demon in the Dark", have both received significant press and great reviews. Letia Clouston is a native of Paducah, KY. After receiving a BFA in Theatre at Stephens College and being classically trained at the British American Dramatic Academy at Oxford University, Letia moved to Los Angeles to earn an MFA in Directing at the American Film Institute, where she directed several short films and her award-winning thesis film, "AB Negative".
Letia Solomon is an award-winning African American filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from the University of California Riverside with a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked as a Materials Engineer in Aerospace before transitioning into a career of film. She began acting at Choice Skinner's Breaking Through Actor's Workshop before she wrote and directed "Elevate," which won for Best Student Film in the 2017 Philadelphia Independent Film Awards. To provide a platform for other talented filmmakers, Letia Co-Founded the African World Film Festival with Lights Up Entertainment in Detroit, MI in 2016. She graduated from USC's School of Cinematic Arts with a MFA in TV & Film Production and received the award for Outstanding Director of USC's 2020 First Look Faculty Awards. Her thesis film, The Cypher, was nominated for the Best Student Film at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival, featured in CAA's 2020 Moebius Short Film Showcase, and included in the 2020 ABFF HBO Competition. Letia is committed to directing and producing, film, television and music videos that continue to uplift the voices of underrepresented communities.
