Julie is originally from Dallas, Texas. As a child, she excelled in sports and art, and played the violin and piano. "The Sound of Music" prompted countless hours of day dreaming and a secret desire to become a nun like Maria. However, her brothers informed her that she would have to commit to a life of celibacy. After much reflection (maybe not so much), she decided she could play a nun- or... a police woman, or...... a queen...or whatever her heart desired. It all started there. Julie made her way to NYC where she studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School, after which she began working in theatre, television and film. She now resides in sunny Los Angeles where she happily plays many types of roles. *She is still waiting to play a nun.
