Eryn Allen Kane was born in Detroit, Michigan in the United States where from an early age she was raised to be a lover of music. Her dad raised her on classic soul music whilst her mother, originally from Macedonia, taught Eryn about cultural music across the globe to make sure she had a wide range of musical knowledge. In early 2015 Eryn released her debut track Have Mercy followed up my her debut EP Aviary: Act II, an EP which received rave reviews. Her music was even being included in popular TV shows such as Being Mary Jane and her being included in the Chi - Raq original soundtrack.
Eryn Brooke was born in Waxahachie, Texas where she was, well, pretty much a tom boy. She spent most of her young years jumping from tree to tree (maybe that was swinging) or taking a dare she probably shouldn't have taken. She wanted to do anything and everything from dance to being the only girl to bring a wild snake to show in tell in first grade. In the elementary school plays and dance recitals whether she was cast in the lead or not, she always seemed to find her way to the front. At about the age of fifteen, she realized being a girl wasn't so bad and possibly had its advantages. At this point and after being a competitive gymnast for over twelve years, with plenty of medals, she decided that gymnastics could not rule her life and she wanted more -more of everything. During her freshman year in high school she played every sport possible and tried just about everything. That year, her life took a major turn. Her older brother, Drew, who was also her best friend as well as companion in acting and modeling, was killed in a car wreck. Her world was turned upside down. The acting and modeling in which she had secretly been adventuring with her brother came to a halt. No more plays, no more classes, no more writing. After spending a lot of time alone in her room with a guitar, a pen and paper, she realized the rest of the world was moving on with or without her. So once again, the adventures began, with her brother Drew never far from her side in spirit. She graduated high school sixth in her class, was Homecoming Queen, Cheerleader, Miss Waxahachie High School and expected to go far in college, but again something was missing in the life she left behind with her brother and was constantly eating away at her. That was when the tables turned, she choose not to go and cheer lead or go off to a big university, but follow her secret passion of acting. School was always easy for her and acting was a never ending challenge that could take her anywhere whether in her mind or in reality. Her imagination was not so far fetched in the world of acting. She knew it was where she belonged. And all of her hobbies had a place there, whether it was gymnastics, martial arts, jumping (swinging) from trees; somehow it all could be used in this new exciting world. In trying to figure out where to start she met Ken Farmer, a thirty-year veteran actor, who was blunt with her about the business of acting, her skills and the need for passion and he began to feed and guide that passion and lead her into the world she was destined. He became her teacher, mentor and coach. When he felt she was ready, he convinced The Campbell Agency to sign her. She does industrials and commercials still, but she found her interest skewed a bit in the direction of film - so the world of Independent Films took over! On the side she continued school; school during the day, filming at night. She graduated from the University of North Texas with specialties in Communication, Sociology, and, of course, Radio, Television and Film. She works for the AJ Foyt Racing Team as a spokes model, traveling all over, as well as doing print and commercials for a new malt liquor called Margarita Ice coming out soon. She is currently working in pre-production on a couple of projects and in the middle of shooting a feature called 'Matchstick Game', working both as the lead and behind the scenes. She has now been in over 10 films, including Alan Chan's 12 Hot Women (2003), "Lycanthrope" and "TP-1" (won first at the Hollywood Underground Film Festival) as lead or co-star and continues to pursue her dreams and passions as an actress and every aspect of film making. Currently, she is set to co-star and be an associate producer this summer in a four million dollar independent film entitled "Bad Moon Rising" by Handshake Films, Inc. And the saga continues.
