Eric J. Black has always been the spark in every room he stepped foot in. He spent majority of his life being raised in Carson, California but also lived in Inglewood and Los Angeles. He is the only boy and grew up in a household with five sisters. His parents have all always been instrumental in his life teaching him core values and morals. Eric displayed artistry early as a child. He had an enormous imagination and would write short stories day in and day out. As he got older he also began writing music which was influenced by his father. Aside from that Eric was heavily involved in sports: football and track earning multiple awards through High School. Things didn't pan out the way he thought it would at the collegiate level. He attended Southern University in Louisiana with four of his friends from High School and found his passion. One day he was eating lunch in the student union when a young lady asked him did he want to audition for the school's modeling group. He laughed uncontrollably but told the young lady to give him a week to think about it. Eric literally waited a week, auditioned, and made the cut. From there he took modeling very seriously and fell in love with the craft and also transitioned into acting. He hasn't looked back since. Eric never wanted to be placed in a box. His main focus was to be an all around entertainer and versatile just like one of his inspirations, Jamie Foxx. Till this day he still creates, writes music, models, and acts. In his eyes everything is about art and love. There are no limits when it comes to those two components for him. Eric's main focus is to be an inspiration to others, help change the world, elevate, and create magic.
