(Univision) and Grace Anatomy (Fusion) a series of English and Spanish-language documentaries hosted by Latinx comedienne Grace Parra who takes a satirical look at the fate of the Affordable Care Act in the first 100 days of the Trump presidency; the docs feature politicians on both sides of the aisle and give voice to American families of every ethnic background and economic strata for whom the benefits gained through Obamacare are a matter of life and death. Besides airing on every cable, streaming and broadcast network, her work has screened at the Atlanta and Tribeca Film Festivals and the Paley Center for Media. Esther honed her filmmaking and directing craft as a public television Director, Producer and Writer shining a light on everyday Americans who dedicate their lives to the underserved. She has garnered nearly a dozen Los Angeles Area Emmy nominations and earned three Emmy wins for her documentary work. She has also been the recipient of two Golden Mike Awards for Excellence in Broadcast News as well as the Pacific Mountain Network Award for Best Documentary and the Los Angeles Press Club Award for Excellence in Journalism.

Esther Smith grew up in the town of Stourbridge, in the West Midlands of England, UK. Her parents are both teachers and she has a sister, Rachel. Esther describes herself as a "proud Black Country girl", the name given to that part of the West Midlands which was once one of the most industrialised parts of Britain - the name comes from the fact that the area was blackened by coal mining, and soot from chimneys. Esther began dancing at a very young age and appeared in local pantomimes. She went on to study ballet and contemporary dance at the local King Edward VI College, which is where she was encouraged by a teacher to make the move to the Guildford School of Acting. Esther got her break shortly after leaving Guildford school in 2010, with a role in the British romantic comedy Material Girl. Esther Tebandeke
Esther Tebandeke is an actress, dancer, storyteller and visual artist. She has been an actress since 2008 performing in a variety of theatre and film productions in Uganda. Her most notable film work was on the Walt Disney Studios production, Queen of Katwe, starring Academy Award winning actress Lupita Ny'ongo and David Oyelowo. Theatre projects have included Conversations with my Mother, which was her first solo performance; Maria Kizito, a play written by Brown University professor, Erik Ehn about the trial of nuns who facilitated the massacre of Tutsis during the Rwandan genocide. She was the lead actress in Cooking Oil, a play by award winning playwright Asiimwe Deborah, which was performed in Uganda and the United States of America. Other theatre roles have included a mentally disturbed psychiatrist in the French/ Ugandan production of The Body of a Woman as a Battlefield in the Bosnian War as well as a frustrated wife in The Marriage Chronicles. Her work is not restricted to Uganda and she has been involved in projects in Kenya, Rwanda, Madagascar, South Africa, Tanzania, the United States of America, and Ethiopia. Esther is a graduate of the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Art at Makerere University where she majored in fabric decoration.
