Dave Christiano was born and raised in Waterloo NY and attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He became a Christian at the age of 22 while in Jonesboro. He received a Masters Degree at the University and then taught two years at San Antonio Junior College in Texas. At that time he began his filmmaking career as a writer, producer and director with his first film, "The Daylight Zone". Working with his twin brother Rich, they produced 3 films together and then set up separate production companies, while continuing to work together as well throughout the years. In 2004, Dave started work on what would be the first ever prime time Christian drama series in the history of broadcasting with "7th Street Theater". He wrote, produced, and directed 64 episodes over 3 Seasons. Dave's goal is to continue putting forth films and programs that have a direct message for Jesus Christ, either for evangelism or Christian living.
