Divya Unny

Divya Unny is a filmmaker from Mumbai and her motherland is Kerala. She is a reputed journalist from Mumbai turned Actor-Writer-Director from and has been working in films since 2015. Her first short film 'Her First Time' garnered over 4M views on youtube and subsequent films including Dancing Queen, Oh Roger and Kitaab have travelled across the globe and picked up multiple awards ever since. She has recently started directing commercials and she created a two film nationwide campaign for Kalyan Jewellers this year. Her forte and motivation lies in portraying drama and human connection, especially through women protagonists. She's looking to tell stories through both the long and short formats, and she believed there's nothing more interesting than the dynamics within the human mind and relationships to tell a tale.
