Born in California and raised in South Florida, Cruz started working as an actress and model at the age of three, booking a national Huggies commercial. She later became a familiar face promoting girl's fashions for Disney World, Target, Clarks Shoes, and Walmart in print, billboards, and commercials. She made her way back out west to pursue acting while also studying at UCLA, where she recently graduated with a degree in Sociology.
