An actor since the age of 14, Devon Gummersall is best known for his work on My So-Called Life (1994) Devon grew up in a creative household that supported his interest in acting. Born in Durango, Colorado, he spent part of his developing years in Northern California before settling in the Los Angeles area. The son of visual artist C. Gregory Gummersall, Devon is the younger brother of producer Josh Gummersall.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Devon has always had a passion for performing. Starting at the age of 7 she began performing in school plays and training in ballet at the prestigious National Ballet School of Canada. Continuing her training there for ten years, she also attended the Claude Watson Arts Program at Earl Haig Secondary School. There she expanded her dance skills to include contemporary, modern, hip-hop, jazz and choreography. She jumped into film acting and production by obtaining a degree in Stage and Screen at Queen's University. Performing in multiple plays, musicals and short films throughout her university career she graduated with honors and distinction. Upon returning to Toronto, she signed with The Characters and began pursuing her passion full time. She trains consistently with many notable instructors and facilities. She continues to gain experience, expand her resume and hone her artistry in both Toronto and Vancouver.
Grew up on Long Island in Huntington, NY, graduated high school from New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, NY. Played football throughout. Upon graduation, Devon pursued his dream, and started his wrestling training with Johnny Rodz in New York City. He got his big break when he was brought in as the evil Dudley Brother, D-Von, a disgruntled postal worker, in 1996. He was scheduled to feud with his "brothers" in ECW. He soon partnered with the newly-turned-heel Bubba Ray Dudley, and went on to form one of the most successful tag team in ECW history. They went on to win the ECW World Tag Team Titles 8 times before they defected for the WWF in 1999.
